Zygadło, Tomasz

   Film and theater director Tomasz Zygadło made award-winning documentary films such as Elementary School (Szkoła podstawowa, 1971) and Microphone for Everybody (Mikrofon dla wszystkich, 1976). He became one of the recognizable directors during the Cinema of Distrust period. He directed feature films such as The Riddle (Rebus, 1977) and The Moth (Ćma, 1980). the latter with a memorable performance by Roman Wilhelmi, and appeared as an actor in films made by his colleagues, for example in Krzysztof Kieslowski's Personnel (1975) and The Scar (1976).

   Other films: Revenge (Odwet, 1982), Child's Scenes of Provincial Life (Sceny dziecięce z życia prowincji, 1985), The Death of John L. (Śmierć Johna L, 1987).
